Grind Baltimore is a 15,000 square foot functional fitness gym located on the 4th floor of the historic Power Plant building in the Inner Harbor of Baltimore, MD. At Grind, Dr. Chapman performs 1:1 evaluations with every patient and creates personalized care programs focused on their individual needs.
While Grind is a more gym-oriented environment than most traditional physical therapy clinics, you do not need to be an athlete or have weight lifting experience to be a patient here. Furthermore, you do not need to be a member of Grind to receive care.
Should I choose to receive care at Grind or in-home?
There is no difference in the care that patients receive at Grind versus in-home physical therapy, as Dr. Chapman brings the necessary equipment with him for the majority of patients. Therefore, for most patients, either option will be just as effective. However, due to the abundance of equipment, Dr. Chapman recommends that all heavy weight lifters and athletes opt for care at Grind rather than in-home.
Patients are recommended to park in Pier 5 parking lot (5 minute walk from Grind) though occasionally street parking is available.
