About Dr. Chapman

A Massachusetts native, Dr. Chapman has lived in Baltimore since 2010 and worked as a strength and conditioning coach with the NSCA for many years before returning to school for his doctorate in physical therapy.

A physical therapist’s education typically entails a 3-year doctoral degree focused on intensive studies in anatomy and physiology, biomechanics, clinical care, and complex rehabilitation. 

Dr. Chapman attended the #1 Physical Therapy program in the nation at the University of Delaware, where he attained both his doctorate in physical therapy as well as his masters in anatomy and health sciences. 

Following graduation, Dan remained at UD to complete his advanced residency studies in orthopedics, practicing under the mentorship of some of the most talented providers in the profession. 

Dan is an Associate Editor at The Journal of Orthopedic and Sports Physical Therapy and currently co-hosts the JOSPT Insights Podcast, where he translates cutting-edge research for clinicians and practitioners.
